South-West : Politically Correct, Acceptable List

Chief Tabe Tando Ndieb-Nso, Otte Andrew Mofa, Mbelle Moki Charles, Ntube Agnes Ndope épse Njock and Ankie Affiong Rébecca Amah; of the first legislature are seeking re-election. Chairperson of the CPDM parliamentary group in the upper house; after replacing Peter Mafany Musonge, the aspirant from Manyu Division, Chief Tabe Tando Ndieb-Nso is a Central Committee Member. In his last mandate, aside the actions of senators from the region as a group, he carried out independent activities in his native division: councilors should readily vote him. A business magnet and barrister of international repute, the soft spoken candidate remained a tough politician even in the heat of the unrest rocking the two English-speaking regions. His colleague of Meme Division Otte Andrew Mofa from Mbonge Sub-division: largest municipality in the country where he was former mayor and Questor in the last legislature is a development-oriented politician whose contributions in the division are a feat. Meanwhile, the no nonsense-politician and an all-time militant of the CPDM ready to defend the party at all times.

From the Buea municipality where he was mayor: in Fako Divison, Mbella Moki Charles is a popular name associated with success. Ntube Angnes Ndope épse Njock and Ankie Affiong Rebecca Amah; female candidates from Kupe Maunenguba and Ndian Divisions respectively, after the blessings of the party would be seeking a second mandate. In respect of gender as ordered by the decision of the National President Paul Biya and in conformity with the Electoral Code governing elections in Cameroon, the female folk got at least two women as in other regions. These two known for their tenderness and modesty, traits that help them warm their way into the hearts of fellow militants.

In the list of seven, the 6th person, Lekunze Andreas Membo a diplomat in training and a first degree traditional ruler in Wabane Sub-division, Libialem Division is a new comer. He replaces late Senator Fon Lucas Njifua of Fontem. While Libialem’s Member of Parliament Hon. Bernard Foju hails from Fontem, the Head of the Permanent Divisional Delegation for Libialem, now Minister Delegate comes from Alou. It was right and just to have Wabane Sub-division represented. Lionel Papinatu Fonderson from the political hotbed of Mutengene in Tiko Sub-division is another freshman. He replaces outgoing Senator Matute Daniel from Limbe who was convinced to drop his candidacy, in favour of the “barren” Tiko municipality, a stronghold of the opposition. This move could help regain lost ground.
